Hi, I’m looking for an experienced and reliable Tasker to prepare the chipboard floors in my new house for Hybrid SPC 7mm flooring, which I’ll install myself once ready. I will be also removing all the carpet and panels in the kitchen so that only the bare chipboard will be ready to be prepared. The job needs to be done right to ensure a smooth and durable flooring installation. What’s Required: Ensure floors are clean, dry, flat, and free of debris or imperfections. Sand, level, or fill any uneven areas, cracks, or gaps as needed. Check for and secure any loose chipboard panels or screws. Apply a suitable underlay or primer if required for SPC flooring compatibility. Ensure the surface meets manufacturer specifications for SPC flooring installation. Details: Area: Kitchen, 4 bedrooms, dining/living room and a hallway, approx. 110 sqm. Floors are currently chipboard, no existing flooring to remove. You’ll need to supply your own tools and materials (e.g., sanders, fillers, cleaning supplies). Work can be done over the 8th and 9th of June (Sunday/Monday) Attention to detail is critical to avoid issues with the SPC flooring. Ideal Tasker: Experience with floor preparation is essential. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Owns necessary tools (e.g., floor sander, leveling tools, vacuum). Knowledge of Hybrid SPC flooring requirements is a plus.
