Small patch of carpet maybe 40x40cm damaged from being under a leaking plant pot - needs to be cut out and 'patched' (we have a spare roll of the carpet). Hi, left a window open during heavy rain which caused: One upstairs bedroom carpet to become soaked. • Water stains on the ceiling (no ongoing leak, just rain that came in). I need someone with the right equipment to: 1. Carpet • Extract water using a wet vac or carpet extractor. • Set up blower fan and/or dehumidifier to dry the carpet & underlay. • Apply a light antimicrobial treatment to prevent mold. 2. Ceiling • Clean the affected patch of ceiling with an anti-mold solution (vinegar/bleach wipe or similar). • Make sure it’s dry and treated so the stain doesn’t turn into mold. • (Repainting/repairs not required — my flatmate is a builder and will handle that later).
