Install wire or rigid plastic mesh in two places to prevent cane toads entering the yard. 1. Under garden gate. Gate is made of metal and has a gap of 2cm under the door, 4cm under the post. The gate is about 1.2m wide. Under the gate is fake turf and the gate will still need to open cleanly. 2. Under garden bed end plank, made of wood, about 1m wide. Gap here is about 4cm high and goes onto soil, so the barrier will need to be well dug into the soil.
