I am looking for a builder to do some repair work on my house. The house is a replica Queenslander, on steel posts. Two of the jobs are large, and the third is small. This site requires a budget, and I guessed at a figure, but I don't have much idea. The work is: 1) Fix or replace the front stairs. The left-hand handrail has a join that is coming apart, so the whole handrail is very loose. And some of the balusters may be coming loose. So I’m interested in either repair or replacement. 2) Repair or replace one of the steel posts supporting the house. It has rust at its base, and this has gone right through in part of the post. 3) Repair a newel post on the back deck – the one near the top of the stairs. It is rotting from the top. Please provide proof of builder certification etc. - Due date: Flexible

Need it done Sunday 3rd. Fence needs to be nailed back together and onto the side post. There are 11 palings that have been pulled off and need to be reattached. Nothing needs replacing and the wood is fine, just need someone that can put it back together. I have photos for reference.

I am looking for someone who is skilled in building gates! I would like a pedestrian gate between 900mm and 975mm wide x 1800 high and double swing gates (not automatic) for our driveway approx. 3500mm wide x 1500-1800 high. Photos included are gates I would like to replicate. The other photos show a block wall I will be removing and replacing with a timber fence and the existing gates that I will have removed. Across the driveway I would like gates to go from front corner of the deck on the left to boundary fence on the right. Carpenter required to build a fence using stainless steel wire between posts 10m and also build a colorbond fence 20m. All materials supplied

Bottle jack to support the the 2ton load on the steel post and cut the steel post and replace with a new post ( timber post not screwed onto the steelpost) and cut slab 10cm around the post and dig to the post old foundation ( around 150mm deep) then pour concrete over. This is civil engineer recomendation. I am in Mansfield. I have hardwood to be cut , bottle jack to support the load. Concrete mix, dropsaw... to support the job.
