I’m looking for an experienced fencing professional based near Point Cook VIC 3030 to help with a few issues at my property. 🔧 Main Issue: The front timber fence along Astoria Drive is leaning and deteriorating — it was built in 2017 and has already failed after only 5,6years. Given the exposure to Point Cook’s strong winds, changing weather, and local soil conditions, I’m looking for someone who truly understands how to build a durable fence that can last at least 15 years. The front door was also sticking, but that’s already been fixed. 📋 Scope of Work: • Removal and disposal of the existing front timber paling fence • Supply and installation of a new 1.8m–1.95m high treated pine timber fence with: • Hardwood posts (75x125mm), embedded minimum 600mm deep in concrete • Treated pine rails and palings • Capping and plinth board included • Pedestrian gate repair: reuse existing gate panel, install new post and latch I’ve already received few quotes , which includes all materials, demolition, and installation. Their design uses hardwood posts and full concrete footings, but they only offer a 12-month warranty, which gives me some concern given the last fence collapsed early. That’s why I’m still looking for someone local, experienced, and confident in building a long-lasting structure suited to Point Cook’s environment — ideally someone who can back their work with a longer guarantee. A vehicle has crashed into our front metal fence, causing it to bend and break off at the base (see attached photos). Looking for an experienced handyman or fencer to inspect and repair or replace the damaged section.

A fence post to fix to stop falling

One post of the timber fence is leaning over.

Outdoor timber gate has detached on one point from its frame thus cannot currently be moved, need it fixed so the gate can be used again.

Both foot path gate and drive way gates need readjustment/realignment as they have moved/sagged over time.

The metal fence gate(colorbond gate) is hard to close and now has come off the hinge. It can be put back to hinge but need to ensure the gate closes and opens smoothly. Also need to provide spare key for the latch gate at the side.
