Seeking an experienced fencing contractor to repair an existing timber boundary side fence and install a new access gate at our property in Holland Park West. Scope of works: 1. Replace approximately three timber fence posts (subject to contractor assessment). 2. Realign and secure the existing fence. 3. Reuse the existing fence panels where practical. 4. Construct and install a new treated pine gate with a 2 metre clear opening. Gate to include: * diagonal bracing * three heavy-duty galvanised hinges * quality latch * drop bolt/cane bolt to secure the gate in the open position. The gate will need to operate smoothly on the existing slope, with adequate ground clearance, while keeping the gap underneath as small as practical. The existing gate and fence have deteriorated over time, with several leaning or failed posts. The fence panels themselves are generally in reasonable condition, and we would prefer they be reused where possible rather than replacing the entire fence. Site conditions: * Rear access is available via the neighbour's driveway (with permission). * The driveway is steep but allows vehicle access close to the work area. * There is a small slope between the driveway and the gate opening. * Photos are attached to assist with quoting. Looking for: 1. Licensed and insured fencing contractor. 2. Experience repairing timber fences, not just replacing entire fence lines. Hello. Please provide a QUOTE to supply and replace up to 5 x broken or cracked fence palings. Given the fence is old, all new palings must be screwed in rather than nailed. Please see the attached photos for reference. In your price, please also include an allowance for re-screwing of up to 5 x loose palings that are currently coming off but still intact (refer to the photos). ***An ABN tax invoice will be required upon completion of the job.*** I am looking for a reliable handyman for ongoing house maintenance and hope to regularly re-engage the successful person for future work.

I have been given a non compliant pool fence notice . There are various repairs including - sections around gate where fence is 5mm too short. Possible packers needed under posts. - some retaining structures are too close, possibly replace fence panel with taller panel or use Perspex shield - gate and latch adjustments

We have an existing glass pool fence that requires repair. The stainless steel spigots are in good condition, however the anchor fixings have rusted and need to be replaced. Note that each glass panel will need to be removed to access the bracket fixing points (2 person lift that I can assist with).

It's been windy and it looks like the fence has come free thanks to not being that well attached in the first place I think. Hopefully no replacements are necessary. Job is to just reattach it to the existing fence post properly so it doesn't come free again.
