Finish & Weatherproofing Fixings: Use corrosion-resistant screws, bolts and clips suitable for outdoor use. Price is to provide a quote on replacement of Colorbond panels and posts that have started to rust. So a builder carpenter or fencer who would have necessary tools and experience. We have a granny flat with Colorbond siding. When it was built the builder put the panels all the way down into the ground on 2 sides. The edges of these panels that touch the ground are now rusting away. Approx 15m. Need to have lower panels removed, new panels cut a little shorter, so the edge is just off the ground, and installed. New edge to have a rubber trim on the edge that i will provide. There are a couple of posts the need a solution as well. Alternatively, rusted edge could be cut away in situ if rust is not too high into the colorbond? We are at Tingalpa.
