Party helper for kids' 5th birthday — Randwick, Sat 26 Sept, 10am–2:30pm Looking for a reliable, friendly helper for my son's 5th birthday party at a hall in Randwick. Around 80 guests, roughly half kids. Toy Story theme, entertainers and catered pizza are booked, so this is about keeping things running smoothly so I can be with my family. 10:00–11:00 — Setup Help set out tables, chairs and tablecloths, lay out food platters, set up drinks and eskies. 11:00–1:45 — During the party Keep food and drink tables stocked and tidy, help serve when pizza arrives at 12, clear plates and rubbish as we go, help hand out cake at 1:30. 1:45–2:30 — Pack-down We must be out of the hall by 2:30, so pack-down starts as soon as cake is done. Clear food tables first, then wipe tables, stack chairs, sweep, bag ALL rubbish and remove it from the site. The hall has cleaning conditions so it needs to be left clean. Requirements: • Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC). Please include your WWCC number and full name in your offer so I can verify it. • Hospitality or event experience preferred. • Must have a car or be able to take the rubbish away. • Must be able to work quickly — the finish time is firm. All supplies provided. $230 for the 4.5 hours.

Looking for a strong and reliable local person with their own high-roof van to transport event equipment. The job involves approximately 15 minutes of driving from Kensington, followed by 20-30 minutes to unload and arrange the equipment at the venue. Around 45 minutes total. A large high-roof van is essential as some items are tall and do not fit in a small van.
