I’m seeking help with (1) a severe vibration/resonance issue on my existing split system, and (2) a quote to supply and install 3 new split systems for the bedrooms at my property in Wilson (Perth). 1. Existing AC – Severe Vibration/Resonance (Outdoor Unit) * The outdoor unit is wall-mounted on a weatherboard exterior wall. * Fan-only mode is quiet, but when cooling/heating starts (compressor running), the unit vibrates heavily and produces a strong low-frequency hum. * The vibration/resonance transmits through the wall/timber frame into the adjacent bedroom and is disturbing sleep. Could you please inspect and advise the best fix? I’m open to solutions such as: * identifying/eliminating any pipe contact points or mounting issues * installing proper anti-vibration isolators/mounts (suitable for low-frequency vibration) * reinforcing/reworking the bracket if required * relocating the outdoor unit to a ground slab/stand if that’s the most effective option 2.
