Pilot light on my gas hot water system went out after a gas supply shutoff (gas supply confirmed working - stove runs fine). Need it relit asap - before 9:30am or after 1pm please. It’s a standard outdoor gas storage tank with easy access. Should be a quick job for someone who’s done these before. If the pilot won’t stay lit it may need a new part - if you’re a licensed gasfitter, happy for you to quote on the spot. Inspect a hot water heater to determine if it needs to be replaced or it should be fixed. It is currently not working. The power supply has recently been tested a few months ago, when a number of internal cables were replaced. If it needs either, to then provide a quote for the repair or replacement. It is an Aquamax 80L - of unknown age, looks in good condition. When I rang the company on the sticker they said likely > 10 years old and may be better to just replace.

I have tried but can't do it.Water meter replaced and pilot light went out. Now only cold water. I checked the new meter and it is in the "on" position.
