NBN just installed their NBN box in my garage. Job: Move data cable from outside to inside garage, and connect to the newly installed nbn box. There's already existing wall sockets inside the house. Drilling required. Data Cable is currently on exterior wall of garage. My understanding from NBN is that an electrician needs to simply bring the data cable (which was previously connected to the old Optus technology)from outside and connect it to the new box.
