I need an electrician who has a block of time available this week (by 31st Sunday) . I am renovating my kitchen/dining area and have removed all the cabinets/appliances and some small walls in the area. Now the area is totally empty. The wires in the area are disconnected now like this (as shown in the photos). Now the plumber job is done and I need kitchen rewiring before closing the drywalls and ceiling. The position of the new oven and cooktop are almost the same as the previous kitchen. The job this time doesn't include the installation of appliances ( Cooktop and Oven) as I haven't bought them yet but needs the wires prepared for them. Some existing power points need repositioning. I need some additional power points, too. I assume you have to come first to inspect to find out what has to be done. So probably 2 visits are required. I don't know how long the job takes. It is a small townhouse and the kitchen/dining area is not big and part of the ceiling and walls already don't have dry walls so access to wires is easy but still a block of time will be needed. The electrician who did disconnecting wires is busy this week. SCOPE HAS BEEN UPDATED, no longer a full rewire. Electrcian needed this week to; 1. Run 9 circuits from new sub board to kitchen / living room. Holes have been cut in ceiling to check route, will need hole cut through 1 floor joist otherwise route from sub-board to kitchen is clear. Client will repatch holes in ceiling. Circuits are; - 4 power circuits 7m in length - 2 lighting circuits 7m in length - 1 power circuit 13m in length - 1 x 15amp pool heater circuit 13m in length - 1 x 32amp car charger 20m in length to be run but not commissioned (will be done later by others). 2. Run new circuit from sub board and install new IXL tastic in bathroom. Will need to cut hole in wall. 2m run. 3. Install 3 new ceiling fans / lights (fans provided by by client). 4. Install 2 new smoke detectors (supplied by client) 5. Install 1 new GPO with 2m surface conduit. 6. Changeover 10 light switches and 11 GPOs to new faceplates supplied by client. Electrician to supply cabling, surface conduit. client to supply fans, GPOs, light switches and 3in1. Layout and pictures attached. - Due date: Before Thursday, 15 February 2024

Someone unqualified tried to put a plug on the end of an oven cord that was originally hard wired in the wall cavity. They also placed a power outlet for it, but I’d like the cord replaced properly and the power outlet rewired by a qual’d sparky.
