Black Ridge Model BRG1700 won’t start. Unit has been in storage not used for 2 years with some fuel inside. Unit was gifted but think that it may have had diesel fuel put in error (as gifter mentioned diesel fuel). Unit should run on unleaded. Checked inside and spotless and suspect hardly been used if at all as filters spotless and no dust residue inside at all. Drained carburetor and check oil and all looks ok. As unit is easy to transport I can drop off unit to fixers location/workshop if easier.

The generator has been intermittently missing and not producing consistent power. Two days ago, it completely shut down, and since then, although it starts normally, it fails under load. Whenever any appliance is connected, the generator immediately turns off again. This issue is now occurring repeatedly, indicating a fault when handling power output or load.
