I’m after an Electrician to install around 10 down lights in a living room. Must have a certificate. Single storey house and currently no down lights installed.

Hi all, Looking to upgrade my LED downlights - i want to replace them with something brighter (thinking ~1000lm - flush style). I have only looked at one of them, but I think they are ALL hardwired, and wondering if i can convert them all to plug & play instead for ease of future replacement. I think at least 15-20 to do (indoors) happy to source the lights myself, however open to the tradesman to supply (at the right price) Furthermore - also looking to install exhaust fans that feed to atmosphere in 2x bathrooms. Need to remove and discard 3 light fittings and replace with new down lights (approx. 8). Replace 1 down light in washroom

- ~70mm holes. - 5 circuits - 20 total lights The lights were s9040 (https://media.goelectrical.com.au/Datasheets/SAL%20Lighting/SAL_S9040.pdf), which can't be replaced. They've each been wired directly into a constant current LED dimmer. We want to be able to simply replace these ourselves with ones that take a direct wall socket so we can replace the downlights ourself later.

There are 10 downlights in one of our dance studios that are buzzing and missing covers. They have a dimmer switch which makes the buzzing worse so likely needs to be replaced. I'd like these down lights to be replaced with LIFX Colour Down lights (that change colour). There is also one downlight in a bathroom that is flickering and needs to be replaced with a normal globe. Ideally not too white/fluorescent, but more warm toned. There are a few ceiling tiles with some stains/water damage and one that is hanging down a bit in one of the studio spaces that need replacing. Following the above tasks, dependant on cost, we may need some reconfiguring of other ceiling lights to make them more symmetrical and some re-wiring to have switches correspond to the different spaces better.

Out current LED downlight isnt working and the dimmer switch linked to it may be the cause. Want the downlight replaced assuming it is dead and the switch changed back to a normal switch. Believe job means replacing the wires from switch to downlight
