Have a property whereby the power to the shed/pool is non compliant and tripping. Needed the power brought up to standard, with electrical safety certificate as well. Needs a 20m trench and a couple of other things. The proposed works are: "The circuit to the pool and the pool heating pump were both found to be non-compliant due to improper installation or incorrect cable sizing.A new circuit will need to be installed from the switchboard, running underneath the house to the right-hand side, up the outside wall, and along to the current location of the socket outlet for the pool heater pump. The circuit will continue down to the ground, and a trench will be dug across and down to the back shed, in accordance with Australian standards. Conduit will be installed to run up and into the shed and across to the other side where the pool equipment is located. Two new weatherproof socket outlets will be installed. Some tiles will need to be removed for trenching, and the trench will be backfilled."

The ceiling light in one room of the house stop working. When using a voltage tester to touch the switch on the wall, the tester didn’t have response. When touching the ceiling light, the tester showed there is electricity near the light.

Scope of work: - Fit and wire five batch of outdoor LED downlight, connected to nine PIR sensors (2+2+2+2+1). Total number of lights is 20 (5+4+4+4+3), and each batch connects to a Centre-off-Switch, or alternatively two normal indoor switches ganged. Each light comes with plug. Installation should provision an AC socket for each light so they can be replaced as a DIY in the future. - Take two existing light dimmers out of service. They will directly connect to the existing switches without the need for dimmer. - Fit and wire two outdoor flood lights. Both need new wiring and indoor switches. - Fit a new indoor wall light. This will need new wiring and switch. - Replace an existing indoor wall light. This has existing wiring and switch. - Replace five indoor ceiling lights. Existing wiring and switches. - Provide one new wall mount power point, and one new outdoor power point. The cable is available from previous AC unit and available for connection to both. - Provide, wire and install eight AC sockets, with under the eve access, for future CCTV installation. Notes: - I will provide all light fittings (LED downlights, wall mount and ceiling mount) and PIRs - You will provide the suitable AC cables, all sockets for the downlights and CCTV (qty 28), new switches (qty 8), one indoor and one outdoor power points - Access in the roof cavity is relatively tight, and the eve is dropped for around 400 mm compared to the indoor ceiling. - picture of the lights is for demonstration purpose but should be close to the items that I will purchase and provide for installation. - For downlights, I require a Socket/plug installation type rather than direct connection from switch to the light wire. - I need certificate of compliance for insurance purpose.
