I’ve recently had a panel lift/sectional garage door retrofitted to my garage in Carindale. Because the garage wasn’t originally set up for this type of door, there weren’t suitable fixing points in the ceiling where the installer needed to attach the overhead tracks/brackets. The garage door company is coming back to rectify the installation, but before they return I’d like suitable structural fixing points installed above the ceiling. There is good access to the roof/ceiling space via a manhole, with plenty of room to work. I’m looking for an experienced carpenter/framer who can assess the existing roof/ceiling framing and install appropriate timber blocking/noggins or other suitable structural framing at the required locations, so the garage door installer has solid fixing points for their brackets. I can provide photos and indicate where the garage door brackets/fixing points need to be located. Location: Carindale, QLD Timing: Ideally completed before the garage door company returns. Installed a new garage/gate motor, but it appears the installation was not completed properly and the system is not operating correctly. Looking for an experienced professional who can inspect, troubleshoot, and properly install/setup the motor so everything works smoothly. This is for a full steel shed with a new steel gate/motor system. Height is approximately 4 metres, so experience working at height is required. The bottom edge/panel of the garage door has been pushed in and also dented. The motor/remote works fine. The door still opens and closes smoothly and it's a single garage door as in photo. It just need to get pushed out/bented back. Thank you
