Scope of Works – Replace External Glass Door with Framed Wall + Weatherboard Replace existing external glazed door with a properly framed, weather-tight wall infill including owner-supplied window, wall wrap and weatherboard cladding. Critical pre-work (must be done BEFORE door removal): Measure/set out to raise the bottom of the existing door opening. Form and pour a custom concrete upstand/plinth that is mechanically fixed to the existing slab (dowel/bolts/anchors as required) to provide a solid base for framing. This stage must be completed prior to removing the glass door so the house remains secure and protected from weather at all times. Wall framing: Build and install treated timber framing to suit the opening, including plates/studs/noggins and any required lintel/support for the window and cladding. Frame to be plumb, square and securely fixed. Window install (owner supplied): Install supplied window to manufacturer requirements, including packing/levelling, fixing and weather sealing. Weatherproofing: Install external weather barrier wall wrap, correctly lapped/taped, with proper detailing around the window for drainage and weather-tightness. Cladding: Install weatherboard cladding to match existing as closely as practical, including trims/flashings/cappings as required. Finish to a neat standard. Please quote including fixings, flashings, sealants and making good, plus removal/disposal of door and waste (unless excluded).

We have a garage currently plasterboarded, electrics done, doing flooring ourselves. Need someone to take down current garage door, turn it into a wall, do interior wall. plasterboard, insulate. Also need someone to extend our bathroom - looking for someone to do everything up to sheeting and we will take it from there. Only looking for people who have a trade qual as this is not a handyman job.

Garage door not opening with remote, there is no sound. Checked the power is ok as the light turns on. Tried new battery as well in the remote. Urgently needing help to install a garage door motor today whilst awaiting police assistance to keep my children safe. Happy to pay whatever is needed for someone who can come asap and is experienced in these sort of jobs to ensure it is properly done and garage is inaccessible while police slowly take their time to assist. Garage door motor purchased already. It’s a Chamberlain SectionalLift Plus Sectional Garage Door Opener from Bunnings for a double door. There is an existing old motor which I think I can remove myself if easier for someone to come in and install new one quickly.

I’m seeking repairs on an old garage door. The door currently does not lock. There are two options - install an electric door opener (I have the machine and parts available minute) or raise the door by 5-10cm and fix the wire and “click-lock”. These parts I do not have.
