To be on the safe side opting for 2 meter move. For the NBN box happy for trunking to be over wall for power socket looking for it to bedone in cavity. Old socket point will need plated up eiyhet with cover plate or plaster board fill. Reckon a cover plate will be cheaper and easier.

I require cabling from the external Telstra box to the lounge room for FTTP setup. I’ve been provided 30m of cable by NBN. They were unable to provide the service as they require standing space in the ceiling. Approximately less than 10m straight line distance on the ceiling from Telstra box to lounge. There is sufficient space in general as we just had our ducted air conditioner system + ducting replaced in January 2025 without issues.

Relocate NBN Point From Lounge room to Study and install additional Data points

We need an internal nbn box moved 4 meters up the wall as we plan to install a barn door and it’s in the path.

The box on the left is the NBN HFC connection box. It needs to move to the right of the downspout, to make space for a solar battery. The box already on the right is the old cooler phone line box. The existing cables are long enough, but will only fit behind the down spout with the connector cut off. Have the compression tools and connectors to join on new PPC EX6XL NBN HFC connectors.

NBN cable is in the roof of my yoga studio and nerds to be relocated so the ntd and modem can be plugged in near a power point. It is quite long so allows some leeway. Hopefully install a cable wall plate so it’s tidy?

Relocate the NBN box as in the picture to a different location (to a pole) Also disconnect the other line, not the power line but the telstra or TV cable The electricity cable is going to be handled by the power company

When the last tenant moved out, they broke the HFC plug, it spins freely in the wall point, just need someone to install a new wall point, and re-terminate it correctly.
