The Issue: One of the black, cylindrical track spotlights on our main sales floor has started flickering. This is disruptive to the store's atmosphere and needs to be fixed. The Job: The task is to find the cause of the flickering and perform the necessary repair. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fitting on the high ceiling track (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Diagnosing the cause of the fault (e.g., faulty LED unit, failing driver, or a loose connection). 3. Supplying and installing a new, like-for-like replacement track light fitting if the existing one is found to be faulty. 4. Testing the light thoroughly to confirm it is fully operational and no longer flickers. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured QLD Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder appropriate for a high commercial ceiling. - The contractor must be able to supply a standard replacement track light fitting if required.
