The Issue: One of the recessed LED downlights on our main sales floor has blown, creating a dim spot in the store and affecting the overall presentation. The ceiling height is approximately 3.5 meters. The Job: The task is to replace the faulty LED downlight. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fitting in the high ceiling (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Diagnosing the fault (e.g., failed LED unit or a faulty driver). 3. Supplying and installing a new, suitable like for like replacement LED downlight and/or driver. 4. Ensuring the new light's colour temperature and brightness matches the other existing lights. 5. Testing the new light to confirm it is fully operational. Requirements: - MUST be a fully licensed and insured NSW Electrician. - You must have your own tools, including an A-frame ladder appropriate for a high commercial ceiling. - The contractor must be able to supply a replacement LED downlight and driver.
