The wall connection is disconnected from the wall and wiring in my housing commission house.

Move my ADSL Wall Socket to another room. Involves someone who can do drilling within wall exactly the size of socket , reconnect Phone and ADSL cables to that new socket etc.

Problem with Dlink Dsl2888A modem/router not recognising, detecting dsl cable in the port. I have moved the router to another room to extend wifi signal but the modem now does not connect to internet. I have connected it to the same phone outlet it was connected to in the previous room, to other phone outlets but still no good. I have reset the modem but get error message asking to plug in the dsl cable...which is already plugged in.

I may have the tugged the cables /wiring behind my internet (DSL) wall socket when i was putting my ethernet through the attic. The modem isn't picking up any adsl or internet connection.
