Timber deck needs fixing. 2 slats have been damaged as per the 1st picture (taken through a window), likely occuring when our dogs have walked over these weak spots. There is another weak spot nearby on a different slat that we've found that has yet to develop a hole, but is soft under foot. Had horrible decking installation by Andrew Belic Construction (owner only show up on first day along with a dodgy helper who left our door opened everyday without notifying us at all - nightmare experience) and no response of since. We’re forced to find a solution from other installer because the timber decking had various issues such as minor peeling (many tradies that came by commented that it lack finishing but the timber provider Britek claim it doesn’t need), wide gaps, unsupported planks (danger), and continue growing of weeds from underneath decking through gaps. We got some replacement timber from Britek but would need professional advise on what’s going on and wrong before making decision on how to fix it. Price negotiable.
