I’ve just received a Telstra 5G Modem (Gen 2). I want to connect it to my Ubiquity Dream Machine Special Edition, which I have already set up as my home router. I can’t get the Ubiquity system to receive the Telstra internet. I’m somewhat ignorant of the settings required, but have tried it every way I can think, and also tried a variety of Ethernet cables. I need someone familiar with modems and the Ubiquity router interface to help me. I have log in access to the Telstra modem settings and the Ubiquity settings. I’ve been running into issues with my home internet connection, I’ve called my service provider to check and it isn’t on their end. I have a new vdsl2 modem which is connecting to my computer and phone via wifi but I’m not actually able to load anything at all. My modem is compatible with the type of nbn connection to my apartment and doesn’t need an nbn box, so I’m pretty stumped. I’ve tried a new phone line cable and tried plugging the modem into my computer and still nothing. Please help! - Due date: Before Monday, 17 April 2023
Robert was incredibly helpful in this issue, we figured out that it’s an external problem with the nbn connection- so while it hasn’t been resolved he guided me through the process of connecting with my provider to get it rectified on their end. Very easy to talk to and would hire him again for any future tech issues.
