Find a reliable computer and IT professional in Point Cook

Hi! Just summarising the issue with my Acer Nitro 50 Intel prebuilt. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I had AI help me put the symptoms into a clear summary, and I've also spoken with a friend who has IT experience. The PC has been having boot/recovery problems. I previously got a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT blue screen, with win32k.sys mentioned, and I'm now getting the Windows Recovery Environment with error 0xc0000001. Previously, I was able to access the different recovery options, but now whenever I select options such as Startup Settings or UEFI Firmware Settings, the entire PC just powers off instead of opening the option. I've also tried getting into the BIOS/UEFI using F2, but that hasn't worked. I haven't tried resetting or reinstalling Windows because I have important files on the PC and don't want to risk losing anything. I was previously told the storage drive/hard drive might potentially be the issue, but I'm not sure what's actually causing it. I'd appreciate having the hardware and storage properly diagnosed before anything is replaced or Windows is reinstalled.

Below is the email my internet provider sent. Need this cabling work dine “We would like to advise you that the Opticomm Field Technician attended your premises but was unable to complete the installation as the property was not fully prepared in accordance with Opticomm's installation standards. The technician's findings were as follows: No internal conduit is present. Both the ADSL and NBN services are currently connected to the property. You have requested an Opticomm connection instead of NBN. Both entry points were found to be blocked during rodding. No conduit is present in the garage cabinet where the NBN equipment is installed. The PCD and LIA have been pulled and installed. An installer report has been provided outlining the required rectification works. To proceed, your builder or a licensed third-party cabling contractor will need to complete the required works as detailed in the technician's report.”

Looking for someone familiar with Evolis card printers and card-feed mechanisms to diagnose, run a cleaning cycle, or repair (if needed) the ID card printer that we use at work to print out the badges for our trainees and workers. - Printer won't take the cleaning card or T-card into the machine whenever I start the cleaning cycle. I have already tried restarting and updating the firmware but still no luck - All the button indicators work, and the rollers appear to be correctly installed. -I have a compatible Inkstation cleaning kit (ACL002) available, with remaining cleaning cards that can be used during the troubleshooting and repair process.

Hi, I have a MacBook Air M1 (A2337) with LCD screen damage from pressure — there's discoloration/dead spots on the display but the laptop still turns on and works fine otherwise. Could I get a quote for a screen replacement? Also wondering if you have both OEM (genuine Apple) and high-quality aftermarket options, and what the price difference is between them? I'm hoping to get this done within a 3 hour window if possible.

I need a licensed electrician or experienced cabler to install a conduit for an NBN connection. NBN has advised that a conduit must be installed before they can proceed with the installation. Scope of work: • Install a suitable conduit from the external NBN entry point to the lounge • Route the conduit. It's a single storey tiled roof. • Ensure the pathway is compliant with NBN standards (including appropriate bends, weather sealing, and entry/exit points) • Leave a draw wire/string inside the conduit for NBN technician use • Ensure neat finish internally and externally

We changed to FTTP a year ago. Since then, we have changed service providers multiple times. We have a Deco mesh system, and it seems that this is the issue. When testing the speed, it is fine near the NBN box, but the speeds when relying on the mesh system are very slow in the rest of the house. We think it's not set up correctly, but we're not technically savvy. Assuming might be a quick fix for someone in the know.
