I have an 11 year old Panasonic vieta telly that up until 12 months ago connected to my Panasonic DVD hard drive. The turning point may have been when I attached a google Chromecast to the telly (as Netflix wouldn’t support my ‘old’ tech), and since then, I cannot play my DVDs. I could get the picture, but no sound, or vice versa.

A couple of the internal pins inside of the hdmi port are bent so the hdmi isn’t working when trying to connect to the tv (See pictures). Just looking for quotes thanks
