Hi, We’re looking for an experienced IT/network specialist to come onsite to our studio in Burleigh Heads and check our network and storage is setup properly and running reliably. We’re primarily a Mac-based studio with 4 workstations. Our current setup includes: * Synology DS1621+ NAS with DX517 expansion * UniFi Dream Machine Pro and UniFi network hardware * 10GbE networking * MacBook Pro workstations * AWS NAS Backup, Dropbox cloud storage/sync, MEGA media library * Kyocera wifi printer + other wifi machines. We need someone who is particularly experienced with macOS, Synology and high-speed networking. The main priorities are getting the 10GbE network running properly across the studio, optimising NAS performance and file access, check cloud backup/sync, remote access/VPN, network security and generally review / clean up the existing setup. We need someone who is confident with business networking and can come onsite, assess the current setup and get everything working properly. $500 for a half day. I’m paying for one of the most expensive gaming internet plans, but I’m still getting lag and higher ping on my PC. Looking for a registered cabler to install one Cat6A Ethernet run between two rooms, approximately 11–15 metres. Need an RJ45 wall plate/port at each end, cable concealed through wall/roof cavity, terminated and tested.

I’ve just purchased a brand-new Aftershock PC but forgot to order the RGB light strips when I had it built. I’ve now ordered the two RGB strips separately and am looking for someone experienced with building/working on PCs to come and install them for me. I’m not very handy when it comes to working inside PCs, so I’d rather have someone who knows what they’re doing. From what I understand, one connects around the motherboard and the other around the GPU, but I’ll have both strips ready to go. Should be a pretty straightforward job for someone experienced with PCs - I’d estimate around 30 minutes or so. Just looking for someone who can install them neatly and make sure everything is connected and working correctly.

Need 3 x ethernet points installed and cables run through roof or where appropriate. Floor plan attached showing where router is located in main living room. Need to run cables from there direct to 3 points - 2 inside the house, 1 to an outside TV through brickwork. Must test connection and ensure its working on completion. Need help setting up and troubleshooting home Ethernet / mesh Wi-Fi system in a large house. We've just moved into a commercial tenancy. NBN guy hooked up a connection from the local node to the building's comms room / IDF. He also said neither of the 2 x IDFs in our tenancy were connected to anything so we would need someone to run a cable from the comms room to our tenancy. It's all ground floor. Distance from comms room to our tenancy might be 20-30m tops.
