I have an NBN modem installed at the back of my house. As you can see from the photos attached, we are getting great download speeds near the modem (living room and kitchen) but with my office at the front of the house, even with TP-Link Wifi 7 system installed (wirelessly - see photo attached), the download speeds are terrible. We would like a professional data cabler to come to our property to link up 2, if not all 3 wifi mesh units direct to the modem please. We have a pitched roof so the potential to run cable through there and have sockets installed to connect each device, if possible. I am currently looking to install some new EUFY PoE cameras and wanted to seek a consult on a couple of things: 1. Feasibility of a clean install providing best coverage. Not I have in a double storey house and need to have the sides of the house, back of the house and parts of the front as well covered. Install needs to be clean with no conduits hiding PoE cables. 2. Best placement of cameras and best camera options. Current looking at two different types of cameras from EUFY: a combination of EUFY PTZ (S4Max) and Turret Camera (E41). Total 4-5 cameras 3. Also seeking consult and advice on best placement for NVR. This will be dependent on whether additional PowerPoint and data points are required if not installed next to my mesh wifi points. Currently have a few non-operational Ethernet ports throughout the house that might need re-wiring. Need you support on consulting on the above based on your expertise and approximate cost. We have an existing 5G Wifi Network set up at home via TPG/NBN. No issues with the service itself. Undertaking a speed test next to the modem, the 466mbps is being achieved however my office is located at the front of the house and the modem is near the back of the house. I have a 5G extender and 3 x TP-Link Deco Mesh Wifi system units set up to try and replicate that coverage in my office but as you can see from the photo attached, I am only achieving 100mbps, even with the help of the mesh system. It would be great to have someone familiar with setting up Mesh Wifi systems to come to our home and help set the system up the best way possible, to maximise download speeds in my home office. To outline briefly: 50/20 connection WiFi lights are on DLINK No internet in the office Have a NETGEAR Nighthawk net system This has worked in every other house Here: it’s not working & i have been told by ChatGPT that the Dlink & Netgear are both trying to be the router. The Dlink has to be turned to bridge mode to fix & the netgear nighthawk net will be the modem. Need help asap.
