Finish a kitchen peninsula with VJ paneling from benchtop to floor, not the return. I’ll supply and pre-paint the VJ panels in dark navy blue, understanding I’ll probably have to do some touch up’s post install which is cool. Need the Airtasker to then cut the panels to size and attach including a very slight return to in-fill where the kickboard is on the side view. It’s attaching to semi gloss kitchen cabinets, so ok with glue or small nails (subtle), neat finish. To be clear, the kitchen is already built. It’s attaching cutting and attaching 3x panels to cover the existing cabinet back. The area is about 2.6m long by approx 88cm high. There’s 2x PowerPoints to cut around, one near a corner, the other in the middle. The VJ panels are “surround by laminex” style and I’ve got 3, 90cmx120cm panels to cover the space. They’re 9mm deep. I’ve included pics of what the kitchen looks like, where the panels would go (shaded), as well as inspiration pic and info on the product. Looking to get the task done on Saturday 9 march and will have the air con pumping if it’s hot! Tasker to supply all tools, fixings. Painted panels supplied.

Need a wheelie bin storage unit built and painted white. The unit is to house 1x standard 240l wheelie bin plus have some shelving to the side to fit ikea Sortera recycling bins. Freestanding and not attached to any walls. The unit also doubles as a partial screen to close off 2/3 of the garage that keeps the dog in their area. So it needs to be strong enough to withstand the pressure of a baby gate (maybe an extra brace/strut where the gates goes). Materials & design: It’ll be inside so doesn’t need to be hardwood. I previously bought a cover and it’s not particularly sturdy and sits in a weird spot, so a wood or in combination with melamine / particle board unit would better organise the space. Some flexibility on the size and design, useful parameters: - width can be between 900-1350mm - depth 800mm - height ~1200mm - freestanding and mostly enclosed back which will face dog area side - small upper shelf to have open back access from the dog side - door to cover bin front (hinges on left) - doesn’t have to be fully closed, slats preferred then melamine on the back (whatever’s easy & available) - doesn’t need a floor - bin top lid: gas struts or some rope/chain system around bin handles would be cool - fully painted white A couple of images to show: 1) the general concept, inspiration and look of the bin cover + shelf combos 2) really rough sketch that shows the how I see the unit looking 3) the baby gate and how it’s currently up against a small cabinet Job price is too inclusive of materials, labour and delivery, fees needed to build & paint the unit.
