I'm making a 3 layered panel to fit into my bedroom window, I basically just need stapling and cutting done. I have 2 MDF boards of the same dimensions, 1 board is 6mm thick and the other is 3mm thick. They need to be stapled with 3mm MLV material in between them. The MLV material was bought in a roll so it is not flat, the outer layer MDF boards need to press the MLV material flat. The MDF boards are 1197mm * 1267mm. The MLV material will need to be cut from the roll. MLV rectangles have to be placed without gaps. Once the boards and MLV have been stapled together, the next step is to cut out a rectangle at the corner of the stapled board. Finally, the reflective insulation sheet has to be cut and taped to the board.

Raise the cabinet’s bottom panel by 9 cm so the opening below increases from 180 cm to 189 cm. Rebuild and secure the bottom panel properly. Here is more detailed recommendation: Final fridge opening: 189 cm Cabinet width: 97 cm Existing cabinet height: 45 cm New cabinet height: 36 cm Total reduction: 9 cm Cabinet doors Do not remove 9 cm from the bottom of the doors. The bottom cut would pass through the handle holes and change the handle-to-bottom spacing compared with the other kitchen cabinets. Instead: Remove 9 cm from the top edge of each door. Keep the original bottom edge and handle holes unchanged. Reinstall the shortened doors 9 cm higher. Drill a new upper hinge-cup hole near the new top edge. Keep the existing lower hinge hole where possible. Reposition the cabinet-side hinge mounting plates to align with the doors. Apply matching edge banding or finish to the newly cut top edges. CURRENT DOOR — 45 cm NEW DOOR — 36 cm Important: Shorten both cabinet doors by removing 9 cm from the top, not the bottom. The existing handle holes and bottom edges must remain unchanged so the handle-to-bottom spacing stays consistent with the other kitchen cabinets. Drill new upper hinge holes and reposition the hinge. The 9 cm top cut may pass through the middle of the existing upper hinge cup hole. This could leave a half-open hinge hole or gap at the new top edge, needs to be repaired properly. Hoping we won't need new doors
