The problem is the cavity in the bench top is too small for the new cooktop and needs to be cut to a larger size. Current cut-out dimensions 550mm x 480mm New cooktop Cut-out required 560mm x 490mm The bench top is an engineered stone material installed in 2003 when the complex was constructed. Hi, I would like to find someone who can assemble and install the Ikea kitchen and also install hybrid flanks on kitchen floor. the flooring is about 6 square metres. The carpet outside my ensuite was wet due to a leak more than a year ago. At the time I carefully pulled up the carpet at the threshold in an attempt to find the source of the leak. In the process I removed a small section of smooth edge which had kept the carpet stretched and finished nicely, where it met the tiles (under the ensuite door). The carpet dried out soon after the leak repair (also more than a year ago), however I have not had the carpet repaired. As per the attached pictures, there is a small section of smooth edge missing. What I require is for a carpet layer to reinstate the carpet in a professional, tidy way. I suspect a small section of smooth edge would be required to be installed, then carpet stretched onto it. The last photo I have included is the transition between my main bathroom and hallway, which is an example of how I expect the finished product to look. I am not aware of any damage to the carpet, warping or anything similar which would prevent this being completed with a professional finish. My apartment is located near Perth Mint in East Perth. We had a water leak repaired and two of the 4m composite decking boards were removed and damaged (at the groove) where the clips connect them to the frame. The two boards are otherwise in good condition. If there was a solution to reclip back in that would be great, otherwise we are happy to have the boards screwed down with minimal visual impact if possible. (see photo where one section has already been screwed down). Can be done Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
