Looking for someone to sand and stain our deck, it’s quite small.

Approximately 35m2 merbau deck needs to be cleaned and 2 x coats of decking oil which will be provided.

We need the floors of the 1975 home we just purchased sanded and refinished before we move in on the 2nd of Jan. they are currently stained a really dark colour with a shiny finish and we want to take them back to their more natural tone with a matte finish. I’m not entirely sure of the square meterage but I will add photos of the areas to be sanded if you are able to estimate. I also will add the floor plan with the area to be sanded highlighted and photos of before the floor was stained darker. There are two small sets of stairs also. If exact measurements are required I will have them after the 22nd of December.

I'm having asbestos eaves removed from a property in Gladysdale, VIC and need a carpenter to install new eaves. Job would be from Wed 17 Dec onwards (some flexibility with dates). It's a 3 bed house, single story, easy access. Please advise total cost incl labour and materials. Looking for reputable carpenter who has done similar jobs before. Thanks.

Decking requires sanding in preparation for staining. 1.7 m x 4.9 m. Located on second story of house. Will have access from inside. Need the decking and the top of the railing sanded. Note the nail heads are slightly raised and not flush with wood.

Looking for a carpenter to do some framing work with internal framing timbers for a fire place insert (half wall). 90mm timber already at site. Estimating around 2-3 hours of work. Scope of Work: • Remove an existing section of Yellow Tongue flooring (approx. 1400mm x 900mm) by unscrewing and lifting it. • Reinforce the subfloor by installing 6 timber noggings (approx. 450mm long x 30mm deep each) between the existing joists to provide support at the panel edges. • Apply adhesive to the noggings, then install a new Yellow Tongue panel cut to size. Glue and screw it down securely. Materials: • I will supply the timber for reinforcement (you will need to cut it into 6 pieces and install them). • You will need to supply and bring the new Yellow Tongue sheet, cut it to size on-site, and install it with adhesive and screws. Carpet will be removed in advance and you will have full access to the floor. Date and time: This needs to be on Thursday 17th very early in the morning: starting 8:30am sharp. In Croydon Victoria.
