Hi there, my Jeep patriot is having an issue that I can't find exactly what it is. Basically I can turn it on normally, doesn't make any weird noise or anything, but after running for two seconds it stop the engine itself. The red dot on the dash start flashing in that two seconds, which lead me to program a new key, but it still not working. I replace the battery, clean the connections, nothing. I don't think it would be a sensor like camshaft as it's not giving any code when scanning, only P0513. It could be related with the immobilizier, otherwise I don't know what it could be. It's parked in a garage in Coolum

I’m looking for an auto electrician or someone experienced with older Jeep electrical issues to help diagnose and fix a few problems on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Main issues: • Install my aftermarket Blaupunkt radio • I already bought two different cables/adapters that were supposed to work, but neither did • Horn is not working • I tried replacing the relay before and it worked briefly, but then the alarm was sounding through the horn when the car was locked and someone tried to open the door • I removed it and now it’s not working anymore, even when I put it back in Other issues I’d also like looked at if possible: • Central locking not working properly — some doors lock/unlock with the key, some don’t • Front windscreen washer not spraying water Happy to start with the radio and horn first, then look at the other issues if everything goes well.
