Task: Get My 2010 Jeep Wrangler Started & Assess Repairs Needed Hi! I’m looking for someone mechanically minded to help me get my 2010 Jeep Wrangler running again. It currently won’t start — it was accidentally run completely dry of fuel some time ago. I’ll have a jerry can of fresh fuel ready, but the Jeep has been sitting unused for a few months (I’ve had a work vehicle and haven’t been able to take it to a mechanic). Before it stopped running, the OBD2 engine light had come on, but it was still driving fine at the time. There may also be a flat or weak battery from sitting idle. I’m hoping for someone honest and experienced to: - Try to get it started (or at least identify why it won’t) - Check the fuel system, battery, and any other potential issues - Give me a clear, genuine rundown on what needs doing and what it might cost to fix properly Once it’s inspected and able to start again, I’d be more than happy to pay for a full repair through you if possible. I don’t know much about cars, so I really just need someone patient and reliable who can explain things simply and help me understand what’s required. Fuel will be provided, just need the know-how to get it going again! Ideally before summer so I can finally take it camping or sell it on to someone who will look after it better than I can. ** PRICE IS NEGOTIABLE
