Jeep Grand Cherokee DPF cracked and car ECU sensor going off. Recommended by mechanic that I replace DPF and de-tune the DPF on ECU till it's fixed. Hoping for someone to ECU de-tune of DPF in the interim and someone with experience replacing DPF (apparently quite a straightforward job).

Auto electrician needed to fix the bottom rear rights on a 2013 Jeep Compass car parked inside our garage at a house in Trigg, WA. The main rear lights are working, but the smaller bottom lights do not turn on. A friend replaced the left top rear lights after some damage and attempted to install a replacement globe on the bottom left rear light, but it may not have been the correct bulb. My Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is not starting. A mechanic came out, logged in using the computer and found that the Glow Plug Control Module is faulty. He checked all the electrical connections and the starter motor and found them to be normal. He also reckons there can be an issue with the electricals of the steering lock, but the glow plug control module need to be replaced first. I am currently unable to find the glow plug control module. Also, not sure whether that is the only problem. I want to get a second opinion from a specialist Jeep Mechanic who can check the car.
