Hi there, I’ve had someone let me down with completing a backup cam install into the Mr12Volt CarPlay unit they installed in my BMW E82. I bought the unit and replacement boot handle with camera, though my understanding is that it’s being powered by jumping onto the 12V reverse light when it needs to have dedicated power. It’s there — the screen goes blank in reverse but no image. It worked for maybe a minute or two (albeit really flickery) when it was installed but stopped pretty much straight away. He was meant to come back to fix it but has ghosted me and gone on to take other jobs. I’m looking for someone reliable and professional to: • Run dedicated power from the pre-installed Mr12Volt unit to the installed backup cam • Assess functionality of the front grille cam (cable already fed through firewall and in place — I have the front cam ready) • Replace existing backup cam in BMW F31 with a replacement cam I have (higher resolution) Needs to be neat and tidy please. My car was backed into on front drivers side. Which needs to be fixed. Lights are fine and the rest of the car is not impacted. I also need some scratches taken out of the passenger side door and front panel. The doors and panels will need to be resprayed. I would like it completed by the first week of March 2025
