I’m looking for an experienced carpenter (or patio/pergola installer) to line/cover the underside of my patio ceiling for a clean white finished look. Current situation Patio has exposed joists/rafters underneath (see photos). Downlight wiring has already been installed by a licensed electrician (wires are ready). I now need the ceiling lined and finished underneath. What I need done Advise best material for outdoor patio ceiling (white, clean look) – I’m open to fibre cement sheets or PVC lining panels. Install battens if required. Supply & install ceiling lining (or install only if we agree I’ll supply materials). Cut-outs/holes for the existing downlight locations. Neat edge finishing/trims so it looks professional. Please include in your offer Your recommended material option (PVC vs fibre cement) and why. Screen room creation with existing structure

I’m looking for someone to cover the ceiling on our outdoor patio, so the insulation is not exposed. The ceiling is quite low so don’t want to lose too much space, so hoping to have it done in sections between the larger timber beams. Will need to supply the materials please or let me know what to get. Thinking the James Hardie HardiFlex eaves from Bunnings could work well but whatever you recommend The area is about 3 x 6.7m and there are 11 timber beams, so about 11 sections attached to the existing beams. I will do the painting myself. I have attached a photo of how it was done in our sunroom for reference. We would like it done to look similar. You will see in the photo I slid some white foamboard under the beam so that’s another method that could work with a sturdier material Please let me know your quote or if you would like to look in person. I require a quote to build a low level patio deck, to replace the existing pavers. The total deck area will be 24m2. It will sit approx 15cm above ground. It may need to sit slightly away from the house, so as not to obstruct the brick weep holes. Will consider either composite or merbau decking, depending on cost difference. Will also need to lift and stack away the existing pavers. Looking for a tasker who has completed similar decks and can provide photos. Thanks.

Build a patio ceiling out of VJ board. Approx 6m x 3m. We have had a new roof installed over the existing frame. We now need a ceiling built with sides and end properly finished to cover the frame. Not sure on price. Thinking it’s about 2 days work. I will pay for materials separately.

I'm seeking a tradie to repair the roof lining of my back patio in Cragieburn. The plasterboard and cornices will need to be replaced. I am seeking someone to quote me for both materials and labour. It measures approx 308cm x 394 cm and it about 3m high. The roof lining collapsed several months ago. The area was made safe by my insurance company (all debris removed, electrics disconnected completely) and covered up with chipboard. They determined via a structural engineer that the collapse happened due to installation and construction defects and are not covering it. So I am seeking someone who is willing to do a compliant replacement (see relevant details from engineer report in one of the attached images). I am seeking someone with availability this week on either Tuesday Sept 30, Wednesday Oct 1, Thursday Oct 2 or Friday Oct 3. Parking on site is easy in my driveway and everything is on the ground floor with easy access to the back via the garage.
