I've had a new head unit installed but my old rev cam isn't displaying, assuming it isn't wired up right for it or not compatible. So I bought a new rev cam and need some help with the installation. Might be able to use existing wiring or might need to pull through new wiring.

I installed my after market head unit however I have no clue how to connect the new head unit to the stock reverse camera otherwise everything else is working perfectly the reverse sensor works as well when I put it in reverse just goes black instead of the camera turning on

Subaru xv 2012. Installed a aftermarket head unit. Also ordered a camera retention cable for it. However can't get the OEM camera to power. Standard Subaru OEM camera retention cable won't fit as the harness is a 16 pin. Not sure what to do. Either look at getting the reverse camera that came with the head unit installed or have a way to get the OEM camera to work with it. I have a 16 pin Camera retention cable. Just can't get it to power the camera.
