I’m looking for an experienced auto electrician or mechanic familiar with Nissan Navara D40s to repair an intermittent electrical issue. The vehicle has already been inspected by an auto electrician. Fault: The dashboard intermittently turns on and off, with key in ignition, while idling and while driving. Headlights, indicators, hazards all continue to operate. Further testing found that the ignition switch wire/circuit is unstable and intermittently failing, which may be causing the dashboard to switch on and off. The auto electrician has recommended starting with replacement of the ignition switch and then retesting the vehicle. Power, accessory and earth circuits to the existing head unit have already been tested and were within specification. Job required: - Replace/repair the faulty ignition switch or ignition switch electrical component/circuit as required. - Check the associated ignition wiring and connections. - Retest the dashboard after repair to confirm the intermittent fault has been resolved. - Prefer someone experienced with Nissan Navara D40 electrical faults. I can provide the auto electrician’s diagnostic report. Budget is up to $600 depending on parts and work required.

Updated scope – Subaru Outback stereo, reverse camera and battery box installation. I’m supplying all equipment and parts. I have the replacement stereo, auxiliary battery, KickAss battery box and 6-metre battery cable. I’ll purchase the fascia, reverse camera, microphone and required stereo fitting adapters/wiring from Autobarn. Work required: • Remove the existing stereo and install my replacement head unit with the correct fascia and adapters. • Install and connect the reverse camera and microphone. • Connect and test the stereo’s phone/CarPlay functions. • Secure the auxiliary battery and battery box, probably on the passenger side. • Run the supplied cable from the cranking battery to the box, neatly concealed under carpet/trim. • Check the charging/isolation arrangement and fuse protection are suitable, and connect and test the setup. The battery box has built-in outlets, so the previously listed separate 12V sockets and rear Anderson outlet are no longer required. I’ll plug the fridge, fan and phone charging into the box. Please check the supplied equipment before starting and advise if anything else is needed. Any additional costs must be agreed beforehand. Located in Southport. I can bring the car to you locally. Hi, the right side high beam fuse of my Holden Astra BK Car (2017) has failed and requires replacement. I need someone to supply a replacement fuse (10A I believe), and help install new LED head lights for the high beams ( I have these lights on hand). The black LED ground wire has a male spade connector which needs to be changed to a female spade connector (or use an adapter) so it can be grounded in the headlight housing. Location = Robina just off the M1.
