Hey, Got a Bosch washing machine and the flood-stop valve on the cold water inlet isn’t fitting right. It’s a mechanical one (ball valve with a green handle), and it’s basically jammed right up against the waste pipe next to it, no room to move. The hose going into it is bent pretty hard just to make the connection work. Photos attached so you can see what I mean. Figured it might need the waste pipe shifted over a bit, an elbow added before the valve so it sits at a better angle, or the valve itself rotated so it’s not squashed against the pipe. Let me know what you reckon is the easiest fix. Cheers,

Need someone to pickup a washing machine from Bardon (address provided once airtasker confirmed), deliver it to Kangaroo Point, uninstall the current washing machine and install the new one. Both the washing machine are the same model. Old washing machine can be taken by the Airtasker to be dumped, etc. There are 3-4 steps stairs when coming into the house where the installation needs to happen.

I purchased a new washing machine. It’s in an apartment within the laundry cupboard area ready to go. It will need to be moved around to set up, remove the transit bolts per all the instructions and connect to the plumbing. I don’t have any tools.

Hose from washing machine isn’t long enough to reach the pipe, to dump water during a cycle. It’s only about 20cm short. Tried getting a whole new hose connector but the ones at Bunnings are too long so there is water pooling in the hose. Thinking it would be a matter of getting some PVC hose, cutting it down then connecting it to the washing machine hose. However on the other side, the pipe will need to be secured as the pipe we are connecting it to (it’s properly under the sink) is quite small.
