I purchased a new washing machine. It’s in an apartment within the laundry cupboard area ready to go. It will need to be moved around to set up, remove the transit bolts per all the instructions and connect to the plumbing. I don’t have any tools.

Hose from washing machine isn’t long enough to reach the pipe, to dump water during a cycle. It’s only about 20cm short. Tried getting a whole new hose connector but the ones at Bunnings are too long so there is water pooling in the hose. Thinking it would be a matter of getting some PVC hose, cutting it down then connecting it to the washing machine hose. However on the other side, the pipe will need to be secured as the pipe we are connecting it to (it’s properly under the sink) is quite small.

Have recently purchased a washing machine and had it installed by the seller. I was informed the pipes might be too small and this could cause issues. The very first load I washed the washing machine was making a vibrating noise, and not spinning. After it finished, there was a pool of water in the drum and clothes were soaking wet. I need a second opinion on whether the drainage pipe is to small as he suggested, or whether there is actually a fault with the product itself.
