We are looking for an English teacher/tutor to help our 6-year-old daughter, Sitara, with reading practice, focusing especially on pronunciation. Sitara has completed Prep without any difficulty and is currently learning to read and write. At home, we speak Telugu (an Indian language), so we are seeking an English-speaking tutor to give her additional exposure to spoken English. This tutoring will be in addition to what she learns at school. Our goal is to help her: • Improve English pronunciation • Build confidence in reading aloud • Strengthen daily school reading and academic English skills Details: • Student age: 6 years old • Focus: Reading practice & pronunciation • Location: In-home or online • Preferred time: Evenings after school We would like to trial the classes for one month first to see if they are beneficial for Sitara, with the intention to continue long-term if it’s a good fit.
