Wood cabinet shelf/unit that I am wanting stained to be a deeper colour - I do not have the colour or equipment for staining

I have a 6 seater rectangle wooden dining table. The top is wood look and the legs are painted white. I would like to have this repainted/top stained. Table only not the chairs as I’m getting new ones.

Have two sets of outdoor timber treads (10 treads in total) which look a little worn. I would like to freshen them up by giving them a sand and staining them.
