Looking for an experienced deck restoration / timber person to restore the hardwood decking around our pool in Buderim. Deck is approximately 45–50 m² including the main pool surround, raised entertaining area and steps. The existing decking is hardwood, believed to be Merbau/Kwila approximately 90 × 19 mm, although this should be confirmed onsite before replacement timber is purchased. Work required: * Thoroughly clean / deck-wash entire deck * Properly prepare existing timber for recoating * Sand back weathered, rough and damaged areas as required * Sand/prep the overall surface sufficiently to achieve an even finish * Replace approximately up to 5 damaged/rotted decking boards with matching hardwood timber * Check/fix any loose screws around repaired areas * Apply 2 coats of a quality exterior decking stain/oil * Include steps and exposed timber edges/fascia where appropriate * Protect pool, glass fencing, stone coping, walls and surrounding surfaces while working * Clean up and remove all sanding dust/waste on completion There are a few clearly damaged boards that need replacement rather than filling. Hi, I’m looking for an appropriately licensed/insured tradesperson to investigate and repair what appears to be a small roof leak above our bathroom. There is visible water staining on the bathroom ceiling near the cornice (photo attached). There is only a roof above this area, so I would like the roof/roof space inspected to determine where the water is entering.
