We have a wireless security camera with solar panel (Reolink Argus PT Ultra) that needs to be installed in the front of our 1-storey house. Need help with the following: -Mounting 1 wireless security camera (Swann Xtreem4K Wireless Security Camera), to be mounted on the spot outside the front door, refer to the left 'X' mark in the 1st photo for the approx position. Making sure the angle when securing is the right angle for viewing the camera feed (I will help by using the app) - Mounting 1 solar panel that is attached to the camera by cable (Solar Panel for Swann Wire-free Cameras) to be mounted further apart from the camera, refer to the right 'X' mark in the 1st photo -Taping the extra cable to the wall if needed Note the setup of the camera is in an app and is already Done, the solar panel also works, see 2nd photo for the camera and solar panel. You will need to bring your own tools (drill, drill bit suitable for masonry ideally). Required screws/ wall plugs come with the camera and solar panel. Ladder in the picture can be provided, and I can also provide help when needing to secure things in place, checking the angle of the camera etc.

I need an experienced auto-electrician or caravan/solar expert to help me diagnose/check/remedy my portable solar panel setup. I want to increase solar power input and battery storage to my caravan when I'm travelling 'off grid', so I have setup a portable solar panel system; this is fully separate to the caravan's existing 400w roof-mounted solar panels. The solar power setup that comes with the caravan has 400w solar roof panels that feed directly to the van's lithium batteries via a Redarc Manager 30 BMS. To augment that supply, I have 3 x separate portable solar panels (with a total output of 590w), that I setup when stationary/camping. These panels feed to the caravan batteries via their own regulator/controller; the feed is direct to the batteries, bypassing the van's Redarc management system, so the two systems are not connected. The problem I have is that the portable panels work for a while (delivering increased amperage to the batteries over and above that generated by the van's roof panels) but after a while they seem to cut out and I get zero amps delivery, even in full sun. Could be the MPPT controller/regulator is acting up or some of my connections, not sure! So - I need help with isolating the problem and remedy! If you are good at diagnosis and know one end of a multi-meter from the other, an hour or two on-site should be sufficient for the task. I will have the panels setup ready for inspection.
