Hi, I’m looking for an experienced appliance technician to diagnose and fix a Samsung fridge (model SRF677CDBLS). The fridge runs but is showing diagnostic codes pointing to a freezer temperature sensor issue (D2 error). There is no ice build-up behind the panel and the compressor appears to be working. I believe the fix may be replacing the freezer temperature sensor, but I’m open to confirmation on site. Happy for you to supply the part or I can order it if you advise the exact one needed. Job is in a residential home, easy access. Please quote including call-out and labour, and let me know your experience with Samsung fridges. Thanks!

On 23/12, Samsung fridge/freezer started making a loud noise and then when it was opened, the noise would stop and there was like a fan/motor loudly winding down. I found out it could be the evaporator fan, so I turned off the fridge for a day to defrost the back panels. It was working fine (no noise) for 10 days, till tonight (4/1/24). I just want it assessed to see if it's worth fixing it or if I'm better off getting a new fridge. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 5 January 2024
