1) Complexity level:- High Two tap valve spindles are jammed and are not getting opened. It is hard, and not getting opened even with a lot of force. One of the taps is a standard 1/2 inch basin tap. The other one is a standard bathtub tap (wall mounted). Image of the spindle which is jammed and not opening has been provided. Note:- Slight slip is there in the hex nuts. My proposal is to heat it up with a small portable hand held gas torch, with that, it will surely come off immediately. 2) Complexity level:- Medium One tap is leaking even after replacing its plug. Most likely, a new seat is required. 3) Isolation valves are required to be fixed for kitchen sink mixer tap. It is a single tap for both hot and cold water. Refer to the image for better understanding. Note:- Budget mentioned is for labor only. Parts cost will be provided separately, or the parts can be arranged from Bunnings store which is very nearby.

Hello, The main project is replacing the basin, including new mixer instead of taps. Several smaller tasks - new kitchen mixer, swapping mismatched taps in bath and laundry, fix 2 leaking exterior taps, toilet only full flushes (would like half). There is also a water hammer in the shower but that might be too expensive to fix right now. Hoping to have work done on Thu 21 Aug, or Thu 4 Sept, if possible. Basin and two mixers at Reeces - I can buy. New basin is very slightly larger than current one, so hopefully no/little countertop adjustment. Finer details re mismatched taps - no new taps needed, just hot and cold need swapped in bath, and one of the old basin taps belongs in laundry. Thanks

The blockage in the toilet is severe and affecting just one toilet. I have not attempted to clear it using a plunger as we are both disabled. There are no water leakage or overflow issues. The plumber's focus should be on fixing this specific toilet as soon as possible. Additionally, we would like a quote on installing a new toilet with a bidet.

Looking for experienced plumber to replace kitchen tap with a new tap

Hi there, I’m having issues with my hot water system (Eternity G20 gas booster with storage tank). At night, the hot water pressure drops significantly, but cold water is always fine. Sometimes when we turn on the hot water, there’s also a loud whistling noise coming from the geyser. During the day, everything works somewhat normally. I’ve tried a few basic things like flushing the pressure valve, but the issue still happens. I’m looking for a professional who can come take a look and fix the pressure issue , ideally without replacing the whole unit.
