I’m doing a quick DIY job on an old house. I’ve got various wall and ceiling patches, a new wall that needs lining. Doesn’t need to be perfect. Needs a plasterer who can be creative with some of the junctions. New walls are easy sheet, set, sand. Some of the other items are just needing a creative approach to make them work. Work zone doesn’t need any care - no carpet down so no major need to be clean and tidy - I can tidy up afterwards. I’m happy to buy bulk materials - just need to know what you need. Ideally the cost for the offer to include fixings, externals, tape etc

Looking for an experienced handyman to install a baby gate securely into drywall, bottom of staircase. The gate needs to be properly mounted into the wall (not pressure-fit), so experience with plasterboard fixings is important. It must be strong and safe for a toddler. - Install 1 baby gate (pictured) - Fix into drywall on both sides - Ensure it is level, secure, and child-safe - Use appropriate anchors (e.g. wall mates / toggle bolts / into studs if available) - Clean, neat finish

I need gyprock hung in my shed. I will provide the insulation panels.

I just got 6 windows installed and need to 10mm Gyprock sheet, finish and sand complete ready for paint. Supply all your own materials. Need it done by this weekend. Windows are five 1.8x2.1m and one 2.7x2.1m. More work to follow if you’re good. I will Install architraves after you have finished so just sheet upto reveals

Estimate for ceiling gyprock repair size approx 500mm x 200mm. Section taken out for inspection of internal area of roof. Will require patching and sanding and finishing. We will paint repaired section. Thanks

I want a new door hole cut into a gyprock wall. I am worried that there may be an asbestos board underneath it.

I need to install 3x usb cameras on covered areas outdoors. There are no powerpoints on these locations, only existing (I assume) 240v cables to power lights or other devices. I’d like to install USB outlets on each location to then connect and power up the cameras.

We need a doorway for a downstairs flat closing off at the bottom of the stairs. A semi-temporary closure. We have some spare gyprock you can use and also some timber that might be useful. Job would entail: - Measuring up and cutting gyprock to size - two sheets with some insulation for soundproofing (we can pay for the insulation) - Mounting to doorframe (one side is gyprock, one is brick) - Gap fill edges We will paint. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 1 September 2023

Labor - remove gyprock in house. Cut out and take to skip bin. About 20m2 in 3 patches. One small ceiling (low about 2x2m). Then two kitchen wall pieces. Two pieces being retained to patch up another wall section. Discuss in detail once accepted - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 15 June 2023
