Current situation Patio has exposed joists/rafters underneath (see photos). Downlight wiring has already been installed by a licensed electrician (wires are ready). I now need the ceiling lined and finished underneath. What I need done Advise best material for outdoor patio ceiling (white, clean look) – I’m open to fibre cement sheets or PVC lining panels. Screen room creation with existing structure

I’m looking for someone to cover the ceiling on our outdoor patio, so the insulation is not exposed. The ceiling is quite low so don’t want to lose too much space, so hoping to have it done in sections between the larger timber beams. Will need to supply the materials please or let me know what to get. Thinking the James Hardie HardiFlex eaves from Bunnings could work well but whatever you recommend The area is about 3 x 6.7m and there are 11 timber beams, so about 11 sections attached to the existing beams. I will do the painting myself. I have attached a photo of how it was done in our sunroom for reference. We would like it done to look similar. You will see in the photo I slid some white foamboard under the beam so that’s another method that could work with a sturdier material Please let me know your quote or if you would like to look in person. Top rail on banister missing after previous carpenter replaced it with soft pine…need replaced with hardwood and edges routed to match the other top rails. Price depends on experience and ability to do a quality job. Last one rotted in less than a year.

I’m looking for professional carpenter to build patio.

Build a patio ceiling out of VJ board. Approx 6m x 3m. We have had a new roof installed over the existing frame. We now need a ceiling built with sides and end properly finished to cover the frame. Not sure on price. Thinking it’s about 2 days work. I will pay for materials separately.
