I’m looking for an experienced plasterer/painter (or someone experienced in both plastering and painting) to repair and paint my stairwell. Please see the attached illustrated project sheet with measurements, photos and a sample section showing what was found behind one removed skirting board. I created it to provide as much information as possible so you can hopefully provide an accurate quote without needing a site visit. The job includes: • Remove all skirting boards throughout the stairwell. • Repair, plaster, feather and sand the walls where required after the skirting boards are removed. • Paint all stairwell walls in the existing colour, including the high wall above the stairs. • Leave a clean, seamless finish with no visible signs that the skirting boards were ever there. Please do NOT: • Paint the timber stairs. • Paint the handrail. • Paint the window frame, door frame or any other timber. • Remove or damage the timber staircase, floorboards or timber trims. Please protect all timber surfaces throughout the job. One section of skirting board has already been removed to show what is behind it. Please review the attached photo and include any plaster repairs you believe will be required in your fixed-price quote. Here are the specific project details: • Location: Beachmere QLD • Walls: Low-sheen finish, changing from a current cool white to a warm white. Please see the floor plan attached for an idea of the size. The bathroom walls are tiled, but the ceiling is not. Each room has a floor to ceiling cupboard that takes up the whole wall so that will not require painting. • Kitchen Cupboard Doors: Please include a price to prime and paint a wall of new, raw MR MDF V-groove kitchen doors and one top infill panel. These should be sprayed in the same gloss and warm white colour as the house doors and trim. • Condition: Good condition, clean, and requires no major patching or repairs. • Doors & Trim: Gloss finish, exact same warm white colour as the walls. • Ceilings: Standard flat white ceiling paint. • Furnishings: The house has minimal furniture.
