Oven RCD tripped last night. Switched back on but now oven has stopped heating up. It has electricity (operation light comes on), and fan still blows internally, just no sign of heat. But, grill drawer and element below is operating fine. Maybe a switch has failed?

The job is to install a new oven. The oven brand new and has been delivered and in a box. The old oven has already been disconnected and sitting outside under the carport. It’s a simple gas only oven, no electricity wiring. It should be a simple connect up. The old oven will need to be taken away and disposed of. The new oven is a basic chef gas free standing oven and stovetop

I need to connect bosch series 8 induction cooktop 7.4kw and integrated oven with newly renovated kitchen. There is already a freestanding electric cooktop+oven combo connection. Looking at the meter box I see two fuse for stove, so I am guessing 2 pole connection is alrwady there but that may not be sufficient for induction cooktop and oven. So may need new wiring. Also need to fit an isolating swith for induction cooktop. May need to change the main switch as well as that is only 40 amps. Cabinet is not reay yet. So for now no physical devices will be connected. Only proper wiring needed beforefitting the cabinets

Hi, I have a SMEG Electric Oven Model SA398X. I replaced the original electronic programmer / timer, which was faulty. The new timer works but the oven does not switch off automatically at the end of the set time. All other cooking functions are working. Are you able to sort out the problem and what will it cost?
