I need a professional tradesperson (bricklayer, handyman, or builder) to modify the existing oven cavity in my kitchen. The current oven is 530mm wide, but modern ovens are 595–600mm, so the opening needs to be widened to accommodate a new standard-size oven. Scope of Work: - Cut and widen the existing brickwork in the oven recess - Ensure the opening is level and structurally sound - Clean up debris after the work is completed - No electrical work required — this task is purely for widening the cavity (unless you are a licensed electrictian). The power to my oven and range hood has been removed in preparation for the wall being knocked down. I need the cord going from the oven to the wall removed and made safe however it should already be completely disconnected from any power.
