Find a local network troubleshooter in Sydney Northern Beaches

We’re looking for an experienced, multi-skilled IT professional to assist with a comprehensive on-site IT clean-up and reconfiguration. The scope of work includes: - Assessing approximately 15 computers (Apple & PC) to determine whether they should be repaired, reused, or discarded - Reviewing and cataloguing data across ~20 hard drives, with consolidation of required data onto a central server - Rationalising server rack space, consolidating 4 full-size racks down to 3 - Removing redundant cabling and tidying existing wiring - Configuring our internal network, including secure wired access and secure Wi-Fi - Ensuring best-practice security protocols are followed throughout Requirements: - Strong experience with Apple (macOS), Microsoft (Windows), and Linux environments - Solid understanding of network configuration, online security structures, and protocols - Comfortable working independently and documenting findings clearly - Experience with server racks, cabling, and hardware audits is essential Timeframe & Budget: Estimated 2–4 days of work, however we are flexible if the task reasonably requires longer. Budget can be flexible if needed. Please include a brief summary of your relevant experience when applying. This is an on-site role, so local taskers are preferred.

Need to run a cable from my building NBN to my apartment. Currently does not have NBN wired through the unit. There is NBN cable right at the entry of the unit.

Large home with a large switch board and two inbuilt ubiqiti routers. I do not believe the routers are connected in the network as we have dead zones in the house. Need help to understand how the switch is connected and successfully sort out our wifi

Network troubleshooting and optimization for Home PC

I need someone to come get and help with: - Connecting rj45 connectors to approx 12 cables (currently no connectors) - Test cables (have tester here if needed) I have worked out that this is not my jam… maybe you could smash this out and waste less cable than me!!

I moved house. My new internet is set up Downstairs but I can’t get the nether router upstairs talking to it. Please help!

We have moved to a new house and need to connect the printer to the new wifi network,

wifi working upstairs in house but not downstairs .. TV's and other devices continually drop out. We have high speed 100 mbs nbn / tpg service, so it's seems a local home ( downstairs as box is upstairs ) - wifi coverage problem.

I have a fairly simple network diagram, 2 datacentrea with a firewall and a switch and a router, 2 internet links each, site to site fiber, and a bunch of remote sites connected to each DC with dual links. We’ve got a big house. Three stories, NBN is connected, and until recently everything worked like a champ . Not sure what has happened, but the Wi-Fi isn’t working through the house, and some of the ethernet ports aren’t working either. Need someone who knows what they’re doing withwhilst networks, patch, panels, and stuff like that. If you make an offer, please let me know how quickly you could come out. align our Tv's, printer and audio hardware with our network TVs have chromecast, printer used to be wireless and audio system not connecting since changing to a new router - Due date: Flexible

After clean windows 10 install on a new drive ,I’m unable to connect to a second but old pc (windows xp) over a wireless network. In theory it is possible as I can reconnect the old drive (also win 10) and it can connect. Turning off firewalls has no effect - Due date: Flexible

We have recently had Ethernet cabling installed but can’t seem to get all of our computers successfully connected. Wifi (not our preferred option) also keeps dropping in and out. Have tested with Vodafone and they say everything is fine.
