I have a 160L natural gas storage hot water system Rheem that won’t relight after the main gas supply was turned off for a few weeks and has now been turned back on. I’ve already checked: * Main gas meter isolation valve is ON. * Hot water heater isolation valve is ON. * Gas control knob is set to PILOT when attempting to light. * Igniter clicks normally. * I can smell a small amount of gas while holding the pilot button.

I am looking for a licensed and insured plumber/gas fitter to replace my existing hot water system at my townhouse in Point Cook, VIC. Existing system * Existing Chromagen Eternity T26 continuous flow gas hot water system. * Existing Chromagen 200L solar hot water storage tank. * Roof-mounted solar hot water collectors are still installed. * System is approximately 2011. * I suspect there may be a leak around the existing system, so I would like the entire setup assessed and replaced if required. Scope of works Please provide a fixed price to: * Supply and install Rinnai Infinity B26 (Natural Gas) or equivalent premium 26L continuous flow unit (please specify model if quoting an alternative). * Remove existing Chromagen gas booster. * Remove existing 200L solar storage tank. * Disconnect and make safe all associated solar hot water pipework. * Cap/remove redundant plumbing where required. * Connect new continuous flow unit to existing gas, cold water and hot water services. * Commission and test the new installation. * Dispose of all removed equipment and rubbish. * Provide Certificate of Compliance (Victoria).

My bathroom shower has stopped supplying hot water. Current situation: * Cold water flows normally from the shower. * No hot water comes from the shower at all. * The bathroom basin hot tap works normally. * The hot water also works normally in the other bathroom in basin and shower. * The shower has separate hot and cold taps (not a mixer).

Emerald hot water unit, electric one. No hot water coming out of tab. Unit is only couple of years old. Need a plumber ( expert) who can fix the issue and ensure hot water he back. I believe something to do with timer and some setting with the unit.

Midea by Chromagen hot water gas booster is not working. Investigated a bit. When the tap is turned on, the fan starts but the gas does not get ignited. Cannot hear the spark. Most probably flame rod/ignitor assembly needs to be replaced.
