The smoke alarm in Bedroom 4 has been identified as faulty. The alarm emits a beep approximately every 30 seconds when the battery is inserted, and the issue persists even after a new battery has been installed. A new fire alarm may be needed. The brand is Clipsal same with other bedrooms.

We want to have our old alarm system reconnected and serviced. Hopefully all is working and it just needs to be turned on again. We also need to move or disconnect a motion detector so the cat does not set it off. House is weatherboard one storey (ground floor).

I need help in changing battery of my fire alarm and put it back on the ceiling. We got new batteries and tried replacing it ourselves but we didn't manage to get to working, it kept beeping. I have a small stepping stool and chairs to get on. Hope that works otherwise feel free to get a ladder to help reach the ceiling

Have purchased two fire alarms to replace old existing ones. Need installed and connected to existing hardwire connection - is double story house with one alarm upstairs on cathedral roof but is easily accessible with standard ladder.

fix fire alarm making a ping noise

I have 2 fire alarms on ceilings which I cannot reach. One is bleeping and the other I did manage to remove the old battery . A tall step ladder 🪜 is needed. Guessing my lounge cieling is 3 metres high. I have the new batteries ready to be put in.
